Obituary of Marjorie Reamer

Marjorie Lillian Reimer (Heisler) 81, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County passed away September 15, 2001 in the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg after a valiant struggle with breast cancer. Born in Farmington, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late R. Oakleigh and Effie (Stevens) Sarty. She was a bookkeeper by profession and took great pleasure in her family, her church activities, quilting, crocheting and her cottage at Hemford Forrest. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Frizzle (James); son Raymond Heisler (Brenda); sister Violet Sarty; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Owen R. Heisler, son Philip in infancy, daughter, Anne Boutilier and brother Glenn (Melba) Sarty. Visitation will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday in St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. A private family burial in Halifax will follow later. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made in her name to the Steeple Restoration Fund, St Johns Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, P. O. Box 70, Mahone Bay, B0J 2E0.
