Obituary of Evelyn Wile

Evelyn Belle Wile 88, Wileville, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2006 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, where she had been residing. Born in Baker Settlement, Lunenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Josephine (Grant) Beck. She was a life member of Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. She is survived by a daughter, Nora (Harold) Selig; son, Garnet (Jan) Wile, Wileville; 4 grandchildren; Kevin and Trevor Selig, Susan and Nikki Wile; 2 great grandchildren, Nigel and Julia Selig; sister, Alma (Joe) Drennan, Hebbville; many nieces and nephews; also many friends. She was predeceased by husband, Harry; brother, Harold; sister, Freda Himmelman. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, and where funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
