Obituary of Otis Wile

Otis Bennett Wile 87, Newburne, Lunenburg County, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2006 in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Veteran’s Unit, Lunenburg, where he has been residing. Born in Leminster, Hants County, he was a son of the late Bennett and Mamie (Wile) Wile. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas. Surviving are son, Gary (Jane) Veino, Bridgewater; daughter in law, Betty Wile, Toronto; grandsons, Ryan and Jason Veino; sister, Phyllis Corkum, Middle Cornwall; brothers, Hugh (Clara) Wile, Martins River; Gerald (Arlene) Wile, Middle Cornwall. He was predeceased by his companion of over fifty years, Jennie Veino; a son Wayne Wile; sisters, Queene Levy, Marjorie Sawler. There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request. A private interment will take place at a later date. No flowers please, donations to Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital Veteran’s Unit or charity of choice.
