Obituary of Royden Zwicker

Royden Merrill Zwicker 49, of Lake Centre, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully January 26, 2006 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Newcombville, he was the son of Mildred (Hanley) Zwicker of Hebbville and the late Merrill Zwicker. Royden worked at South Shore Toyota in Bridgewater for over 17 years, before starting his own business as owner/operator of Hebbville Irving and R & P Auto Sales, in 1991. Besides working hard, Royden had a love for antique cars and was especially fond of his 64 Mustang. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his buddies and spending time with his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Maloney); daughter, Natasha Zwicker (Rick Mosher), Riverport; sister, Gloria Zwicker (fiancé, Bernie Selig), Spectacle Lake. Visitation will be held Saturday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, Rev Willis Ott officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Newcombville Cemetery. Immediate family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombville or the charity of your choice.
