Obituary of Clyde Boyd

Clyde Austin Boyd 82, of Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, passed away August 20, 2007 in the Veterans Unit at the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Yarmouth, he was the son of the late Keith and Sarah (Eldridge) Boyd. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 49 in Mahone Bay. He retired from Eaton’s Financial Services before moving to Mahone Bay. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay. He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Wentzell; sons, Gregory, Bridgewater; Michael (Lorraine), Dartmouth; daughters, Susan Boyd, Bridgewater; Ann (Peter) Roberts, Halifax; grandchildren, Amanda Roberts, Harrison Boyd, Evan Thibault; sister, Catherine Warner, Grimbsy, Ont. A public graveside service will be held 11am Friday in the Dayspring Cemetery, Pastor Stephen Kristenson officiating. No flowers by request.
