Obituary of James Bruhm

James Wellington Bruhm 86, of Cookville, Lunenburg County, passed away September 26, 2007, in the Veterans Unit of the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Cookville, he was a son of the late William and Florence (Joudrey) Bruhm. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas and was wounded in Italy. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24, Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife, Grace (Oickle); son, Peter, Cookville; brothers, Lawrence (Helen), Cookville; Paul (Margie) and David (Paulette), all of Bridgewater; George (Patricia) and Robert (Vera), all of West Northfield; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday in St Andrew’s Lutheran Church, West Northfield, Rev Willis Ott officiating. Private family burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. No flowers or visitation by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Andrew’s Lutheran Church, West Northfield.
