Obituary of Grace Rhodenizer

Grace Myra Rhodenizer Of 17 Glenridge Ave., Bridgewater, passed away October 19, 2001 in the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Ellard and Ida (Oickle) Veinott. School and sung in both the Junior and Senior choirs. She was a charter member of Bridgewater Branch #24 Legionettes and a long time member of the Bridgewater Golf and Country Club. Besides her golf, she was an ardent skater for many years, having skated in the old rink where the Bridgewater Superstore now stands and up and down the LaHave River. She was also an excellent dancer. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Glenwood; son Terry (Florence), Halifax; grandson Stephen (Lucille and Angela), Lunenburg; a brother Arnold, Whitehorse. She was predeceased by brothers Ray, Max and Ellard; sisters, Avery and one in infancy. Memorial service will be held 2pm Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating. No flowers or visitation by request. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, or the N.S. Diabetic Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater.
