Obituary of Clifton Crouse

Clifton Oscar Crouse 85, New Germany, Lunenburg County, passed away, Monday, April 9, 2007 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where he had been residing. Born in New Canada, he was a son of the late William and Millie (Hughes) Crouse. He was a member of New West Pine United Church, Pinehurst. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his daughters, Gwen (Bill) Oakes, Greenfield; Wanda (Clyde) Steeves, Sussex, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Danielle Frampton, New Germany; Corey Wile, Bridgewater; Nigel Crouse, Truro; Kaitlin Steeves, Sussex; great grandchildren, Amber Frampton, Chantelle Wile, Christoph Wile, Katharina Wile, Nocholai Wile; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wives, Martha (Hirtle), Alice (Joudrey); son, Grant; sisters, Gladys Wentzell, Evelyn Lohnes, Pauline Hirtle, Daisy Crouse; brother, Kenneth. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday in New West Pine United Church, Pinehurst. Rev. Joan Conrad officiating.
