Obituary of Edith Crouse

Edith Dorothy Kathleen Crouse (Hirtle) Crouse (Hirtle), Edith Dorothy Kathleen, 65, of Dayspring passed away June 2, 2007 at home. Born in Mahone Bay on October 2, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Alexander W. Hirtle Sr. and Dorothy (Mosher) Hirtle. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Cook, Cookville; Brenda Crouse (Paul Keddy), Dayspring; Sheryl (Troy) Penney, New Germany; grandchildren, Nicole, Melissa, Christine, Brittany, Jacob, Victoria; sisters, Anne (Bill) Kirk, Halifax; Leilia Hirtle, Mahone Bay; brothers, Buddy (Gwen), Mahone Bay; Donald (Annette), Rhodes Corner; Gilbert (Paulette), Bridgewater; Walter, Mahone Bay. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Frank Crouse; sister, Shirley Ernst. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday , Rev William Gustafson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayspring Cemetery. No flowers by request.
