Obituary of Richard Hebb

Richard "Dick" Bruce Hebb 77, Hebbville, Lunenburg County, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at home. Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late L. Bert and Margaret (Eisenhauer) Hebb. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater; Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater. Earlier in life, Dick had worked in Northern Canada and then returned back home and was employed as a mechanic for the Department of Transportation. Surviving are his niece, Sandra (Charles) Powers, Bridgewater; nephew, Michael (Cheryl) Hebb, Fall River; sister in law, B. Diane Hebb, Bridgewater. He was predeceased by brother, William B. Hebb; companion, Margaret Smith. Visitation, 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Public graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Father Ron Appleton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
