Although my physical time with Anna was not much, I had a deep level of love and respect for her. She came into my families life about 7 years ago when she married my grandfather. Since then our relationship has consisted of emails, letters and phone calls from opposite sides of the world. Our conversations always sounded the same; Anna would always encourage me to follow my dreams as well as my heart. She would tell me of her travels and encouraged me to see the world. She told me never to settle for less then I deserved. My sister, Gabrielle and I are currently both in Western Australia; from the other side of the world we would like to send our deepest condolences both to Anna's family and our Grampy. We wish we could be with you all now.

It was a privilege to come to know Anna during the later years of her life and to officiate at her marriage to Keith. Although I was able to visit her several times in hospital during her final illness, I regret that I was not able to be there during her last days with us. But perhaps it is appropriate that I saw her native Bratislava for the first time just five days before she died.

On behalf of Keith Baker (husband) I wish to send my sincere sympathy to the Borovsky family on the passing of their mother and grandmother. Anna will always have a special place in my heart. I know she will always be watching over everybody.
