Obituary of Raymond Dwight Arenburg
Raymond Dwight Arenburg – 59, Springfield, Annapolis County, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 3, 2017, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Gerald and Doris (Sproule) Arenburg. Raymond loved to fish and hunt and would spend many days in the woods in Springfield trying to catch the biggest fish or deer he could find. He was a very caring man and would help anyone that he could. Raymond is survived by his son, Justin Arenburg (Ashley), Springfield; sister, Gloria (Delbert) Robar, Springfield; nieces, Tina (Kevin) Carver, Walden; Tanya (Shawn) Henderson, Camperdown; nephew, Brandon Wentzell, Alberta; great niece, Shawna Henderson (Spencer Hebb), Bridgewater; great nephew, Robert Henderson, Camperdown; great-great nephew, Everett Hebb, Bridgewater; sister-in-law, Kim (Kendall) Bolivar, Conquerall Bank; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Dale Arenburg. We would like to thank Raymond’s oncologist, Dr. Stephanie Snow and RN, Jessica, Dickson Centre, Halifax, for their wonderful care and guidance, Home Support of Annapolis County and Palliative Care nurses and doctors who attended the house regularly and were only a phone call away when we needed them, Dr. Kydd (family doctor), South Shore Regional Hospital (4th Floor) doctors and nurses and chemotherapy department. Also, we would like to thank our family and friends who offered support during this difficult time. In following Raymond’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in Raymond’s memory to Springfield Baptist Church or Springfield Fire Department are welcomed.
