Obituary of Calvin Alden Rafuse

of Calvin Alden Rafuse 70, Upper Northfield, Lunenburg County, passed away at home on Monday, November 17, 2008, due to an accident. Born in Parkdale, he was a son of the late Frank and Sadie (Faulkenham) Rafuse. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Surviving are his wife, Joyce L. Veinot; sisters, Reta Rafuse, Winnie Evanston, both of Chicago; Angeline MacDonald, Dartmouth; Belle Rafuse, Halifax; Betty (Murray) Eisnor, Chester Basin; Connie (Jacob) Penney, New Germany; brothers, Gerald (Alice) Rafuse, Frank Rafuse (Viola Blackadar) both of Parkdale; Donald (Charmaine) Rafuse, Dartmouth; Thomas (Margaret) Sauber, Antigonish; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Maxwell and Roby. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service 10 a.m., Friday in Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield. Rev. William Gustafson officiating with a private family interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield.
