Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Ramey

of Mary Elizabeth Ramey 63, Of Maplewood, Lunenburg County, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Sylvia (Trethewey) Waterman. Mary was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Newburne; associate member of the Bridgewater Curling Club and former member of the Shelburne Kinette’s Club. Surviving are her husband, Nelson; sons, Scott (Cathy), Hammonds Plains; Kevin (Tanya), Dartmouth; sister, Bonnie (Ken) Oickle, New Germany; brothers, Royce Waterman (Maxine), Pleasant River; Earl (Dawn) Trethewey, Halifax; grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, Ryan and Jake; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Christina; step father, Roderick “Dick” Trethewey. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Service 2 p.m., Tuesday, in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Newburne. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Private family interment in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Newburne.
