Obituary of Maralyn Gloria Harquail
HARQUAIL, Maralyn Gloria Age 80 of New Germany. It is with deep sorrow to announce the loss of my loving wife and our very courageous mother, who passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18th, 2017 at home by her husband’s side.
She was a daughter of the late Walter and Annabelle (Dauphinee) Marriott. Surviving are her loving husband, Carl, daughters, Cindy, Brenda (Larry), sons, Jimmy (Paula), Michael (Debbie), sister, Elaine Publicover, sister-in-law Marguerite Marriott. Grandchildren Melissa, Garrick (Ashley), Sarah (Greg), Ty, Leigha, Sean (Kaitlyn), Brandie (Jonathan), Little Jimmy and Brittany (Chris). Great grandchildren Abel, Maddison, Jillian, Luke, Kyler, Mia and Max. Nephews, Philip and Tim, neice, Carolyn. She was predeceased by her brother Harold Marriott and brother-in-law Mike Publicover. Cassie, their pet cockatoo will surely miss Maralyn. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Sheldon, Janette, Jim and Jo Ann for their extraordinary help and moral support. Thank you also to the Cancer Clinic Valley Regional hospital. Maralyn and Carl were approaching 60 years of marriage. They were members of the Lake Pleasant Campers Club for 25 years. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home. A family service will take place in St. John’s Cemetery, Halifax at a later date.
