Peggy & family, sorry to hear about Gary's passing.
The first time I met Gary was approximately 35 years ago when he played Fastball with a Bridgewater team. My first impression was, "What a nice guy.", and he always was (and he was a very good ball player too).
What I will always remember the most is when I would go to the Superstore, that I might have the opportunity to talk to Gary about, you guessed it, the "Toronto Maple Leafs". Even if Gary only had 20 seconds, I always liked to hear his insight into the team.
I am sure that whoever met Gary would say the same as me, "What a nice guy!!" My thoughts go out to Gary's family. Take care, Kevin

Sorry to hear about Gary. I always enjoyed discussing the state of the Leafs with him and the possibilities of success for the team in the future. Dear Cousin Peggy and Family,
Shocked and saddened to hear that Gary hadn't been well of late and had passed. While we have not seen each other for a long long time, I know that you and Gary had been sweethearts since youth and have raised a lovely family over the years. I remember warm visits to the Lockeport Enslows when we were kids, and I hope that same family support, from near and afar, as our Moms' proved, sustains you all now. Sincerely, Cousin Beverly (Jobe) Boyd and Family, Dartmouth

Dear Peggy and Family
So very to sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Jim and I will always remember all the fun times we have had at the ball fields. It was such a pleasure tormenting him when it was hockey season, trying to convert him to be a HABS fan but not so he was a TML fan always. He was such a pleasant person and made every trip to the Superstore fun, cause you were always looking to find him and alert him that the Habs had beat the Leafs. His presence in our town will surely be missed as we too will miss him. We have been blessed to know and call him friend. Take Care. Jim and Sheila
