Obituary of Gary Wayne Fraser

FRASER, Gary Wayne – 65, Pine Grove.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Fraser on January 17, 2018 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with his family by his side. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Carroll and Florence (Haines) Fraser. Gary was a loving husband, proud father, brother and friend. He worked for many years in retail where he became very well known. He was first employed with Shelco in Shelburne. He also worked as a long time employee at Bridgewater Save Easy and Superstore where he will be fondly remembered by his friendly smile, infectious laugh, kind heart, sense of humour and willingness to help. He enjoyed many sports and was a true and loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan “Go Leafs Go.” He also enjoyed golfing with his friends.

He will be missed by so many especially his loving wife Peggy; son Jeff, Moncton; daughter Jody, Bridgewater; brother Darrell (Angie), Bridgewater; sister Patti (Jimmie) Ross, Stoney Island; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Brian; sister, Janet. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31 from 7-9 pm and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 1 at 2 pm at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev. Doug Porter officiating.
