Obituary of Olla Blanche Bolivar
Bolivar, Olla Blanche- We, the family, are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Olla B. Bolivar, 86 of West Clifford, on January 23, 2018 in Hillside Pines, Home for Special Care, Bridgewater, with family by her side. Born in Lantz, Olla was a daughter of the late Currie and Minnie (Hirtle) Wentzell of Wileville. Olla was primarily a homemaker and stay at home mother, though she cleaned private homes in Bridgewater for a time. She loved taking bus trips to Bangor, shopping at Frenchy’s, and dining out. She especially enjoyed the banana splits at the Turkey Burger. A cat lover, she was often seen giving treats to Suzie at Hillside Pines. Olla is survived by daughters, Linda Colp, Lakeside; Sandra (Robert) Mailman, Baker Settlement; sons, Brian (Karen Cleversey) Bolivar, Hebb’s Cross; Reid (Jeannie Roy) Bolivar, Middlewood; Craig (Sharon) Bolivar, Italy Cross; sister, Stella Garber, New Germany; brothers, Ross (Margaret) Wentzell, Bridgewater; Curtis Wentzell, Hebbville; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Missing her are grandchildren, Amanda (Gregory) Richards, Timberlea; Ryan (Beckie Golden) Colp, Hammonds Plains; Tristan (Trina Weatherbee) Mailman, Lower Sackville; Gavin (Robyn) Crouse, Upper Branch; Adam (Catherine) Bolivar, Hammonds Plains; Leanne (Kyle) Taylor, Port Hawkesbury; Nevaeh Bolivar, Italy Cross; five great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Linwood; brother, Orie; son in-law, David, and brother in-law, Arthur. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s funeral Home, Bridgewater. A private family service and interment will be held at a later date. No flowers by request.
