Obituary of Ann Jodrey

Ann Louise Jodrey - Mailman 57, New Canada, Lunenburg County, died tragically at exit 11, highway 103, Sunday, May 27, 2007. Born in New Canada, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Viola (MacKay) Lyons. Surviving are brothers, George (Heather Perks) Lyons, Hammonds Plains; Blair (Susan) Lyons, New Canada; sisters, Faye (Barry) Conrad, Bridgewater; Cathy (Vance) Moore, New Germany; former sister in law, Karen Lyons, Bridgewater. Nephews, Kenley, Jeremy Conrad, Halifax; Eugene Jodrey, Scott (Gale) Jodrey, Patrick Jodrey, all of Dartmouth; nieces, Candise (Adam) Cook, New Canada; Vicki Moore (Jeff Awalt), Halifax; Suzette (Brad Woodbury), Timberlea. Step sons, Thomas (Judy) Mailman, Branch LaHave; Daren (Sheila) Mailman, New Canada; step daughter, Angela (Bruce) Hyson, New Canada; step grandchildren, Justin and Jamie Mailman, Branch LaHave; Christopher and Christina Mailman; Kaylee, Jasper and Whitman Hyson, all of New Canada; several aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by first husband, Frank Wayne Jodrey; second husband, Byron Wayne Mailman and partner, Gary Clarence Robar. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Public graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Lakeside Cemetery, New Canada. Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Flowers accepted, donations in Ann’s memory may be made to Lakeside Cemetery or charity of choice. A reception will follow in Pinehurst Community Hall, Pinehurst.
