Obituary of Jessie Tanner

TANNER, Jessie Lovetta - Age 91, of Lunenburg County, formerly of Newfoundland, long time resident of Halifax, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on May 12, 1926 in Belleoram, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Lydia Hanhams. She is survived by her two daughters; four sons; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents,she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Frank Tanner; two sisters, and a brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or a charity of choice be made.
