We were saddened to read the news of Barbara's death. We have such wonderful memories of her during our years in ministry at Bridgewater United Church. Barbara was a wonderful person. She was so kind to both family and to us. We remember her saying that she and Stuart had really only ever lived on their own for but a few months. They always had family in the house. Stuart's mother Phyllis lived with them for many years and she had a wonderful home.
What a pleasure it always was to visit with Barbara and Stuart in their home on Alexandra St. and in the apartment. We always enjoyed such good conversations. As a family, you have been fortunate to have her all these years. While you mourn her, we know that your memories of her are very special to you.
May the God of all comfort surround you all with love.
