Obituary of Craig Saulnier

Craig Nathaniel Saulnier 30, Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008 in Pinehurst, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Laurie Saulnier, New Germany and the late Maryanne (Emino) Saulnier. Craig was a graduate of NSCC – Lunenburg Campus in auto mechanics. Craig was an avid drag racing enthusiast spending many hours working on vehicles and spending time in the outdoors. Craig was a member of the Nova Scotia Drag Racing Association and a former affiliate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 102, New Germany. Surviving are his companion, Jennifer Russell, Simpsons Corner; brother, Michael (Krista Butts), Simpsons Corner; paternal grandfather, Ronald Saulnier; nieces, Kori-Lyne and Channa Saulnier, Tristan Butts and nephew, Justin Butts; several, aunt, uncles and cousins. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 1 p.m. Thursday in Epworth United Church, New Germany. Rev. Catherine Robar officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Simpsons Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation or charity of choice.
