Obituary of Donald Joe Tanner

TANNER, Donald Joe – Age 84, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at home. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary Tanner.

 Surviving are his daughters, Sharon (Wayne) Veinotte, Oak Hill; Debra Spataro, Moncton, NB; son, Paul, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Tosha, Scott, Vicki, Alicia, Candida, Carlo, Justine, Jordan and Makayla; great-grandchildren, Carrie, Tyler, Madison, Liam, Myles, Lauren, Reed, Mason and Elliott; several nieces and nephews; sister, Ruth Dalton, Yarmouth; brother, Gerald (Joan) Tanner, Bridgewater.

He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Tanner; sisters, Frances MacDonald, Mable MacDonald, Charlotte Tanner, Lila Gaulton, Joan Morrow and Sylvia Selig; brother; Ronald Tanner.

There will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place at a later date in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. No flowers by request, donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
