Obituary of Melvin Owen Whynot

WHYNOT, Melvin Owen – Age 89, of Lower Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away on July 29, 2018 in the South Shore Regional Hospital. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Ethel (Mailman) Mader and step-father, Harris Mader. Melvin lived in Lower Branch all of his life with the last 21 months at Ridgewood. He is survived by his half-brothers, Brenton (Betty) Mader and Gary (Shirley) Mader; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mona Whynot and Alice Mulock; half-brother, Merrill Whynot.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. By Melvin’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. A burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the Midville Cemetery.
