Obituary of Mary Emily Theriault

THERIAULT, Mary Emily - Age 85, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co. passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Sydney, NS, Mary was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Healey) O’Neill.

Surviving are her daughters, Beverley (Bob) Yoon, Massachusetts; Carol Theriault-Wood (David), Ottawa; Patricia (Pieter) Lubbe, Mississauga; grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Yoon, Nicholas, Emily and Lucas Lubbe; sisters, Joan Richardson and Margie Mroz; brother, Joe O’Neill; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Kevin and Sandi Weaver.

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph Edmond (Ed) Theriault; sister, Ruth Gillis and brother, Bill O’ Neill.

Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed. Heartfelt thanks to Ridgewood Retirement Center, 372 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater and to Carolyn, Lori and all those who lovingly cared for our Mom.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 6th, from 2-4 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater and where funeral service will be Friday, September 7th, at 2 p.m. with Deacon Patrick Morris officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or SHAID Animal Shelter. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Philip Street, with a reception at Sweeny's Funeral Home. All are welcome.
