Obituary of James Vernon Coates

COATES, James Vernon – Age 77, of Hebb Cross, passed away on Thursday, September 6^th, 2018 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Amherst on March 6^th, 1941, James was a son of the late Amos and Greta (Lorette) Coates.

James is survived by his sister, Barbara Coates (John Wrightman), Chester Basin. He was predeceased by his sisters, Beverley Coates and Helen Coates; brothers, Wyman Coates and Douglas Coates.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. By request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 15^th, 2018 at 11 a.m. in C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, 35 York Street, Bridgewater, Pastor John Boutilier officiating.
