Hello.
My mum (Pauline Etter) and I were reminiscing this afternoon about two if the NS highway engineers that boarded with us in Brooklyn Hants Co when I was a child in the 1950s. Henry Severance and John Dunbar. I just checked on-line and saw this obituary.
If this is the same man, and I am suspecting it is, we were so very fond of him. He loved the woody woodpecker show and would copy that crazy sound of his to make us kids laugh.
My mum (now 88) and dad (Clare, deceased) thought the world of him.
I am sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy. We lost our son the same year.
