To send a message to the family click here. of Ruby Emma Slauenwhite 82, Of Hebbs Cross, Lunenburg County, passed away May 17, 2008, in the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Hebbs Cross, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Elfreda (Smicer) Sarty. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Helen Sarty; stepsons, Donald (Shirley) Slauenwhite; Wendell Slauenwhite; stepdaughter, Shirley (Webster) Whynot; sister-in-law, Dora Sarty; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William; sons, Carl Sarty and Peter Slauenwhite; sisters, Beatrice Kaulback, Pearl Oickle; brothers, Arthur, Henry. A memorial service will be held 1:30pm Tuesday in Calvary Lutheran Church, Middlewood, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. No flowers or visitation by request. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, Middlewood or the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater.
