Obituary of Frances Audrey Sarty

Sarty, Frances Audrey - Age 84 of North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born July 10, 1934 in North River, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Hazel (Oickle) Daniels.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Louise (Dwayne Michael) Gabriel, North River; Dianne (Franklyn) Veinot, Simpson’s Corner; Sandra (Roland) Robar, North River; Wanda Logan, Bridgewater; sisters, Doris Armstrong, Middleton; Ethel (Mervyn) Joudrey, Blockhouse; grandchildren, Derek (Carla), Port Coquitlam; Andrew (Robyn), Burnaby; David, Bridgewater; Stacy, Ontario; Donna (Jason), North River; Paul (Dana), Coldbrook; Jenna (Travis), Wentzell’s Lake; Daniel, North River; Jillian, Bridgewater; Kyle, Bridgewater; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Owen and Lola. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Andrew Sarty.

Frances was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North River. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed embroidery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10, New Germany. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River; Rev. David Whynot officiating. Interment to follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, North River.

A reception will follow the service at the North River Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rosedale Home for Special Care or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River.
