Bruce Falle

Obituary of Bruce Chesley Falle

FALLE, BRUCE CHESLEY - Age 63, of Bridgewater passed away on January 5, 2019 in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS. Born in St. George’s, NL he was the son of the late Chesley Falle and Teresa (nee King) Falle.

Bruce believed you couldn’t die before your time, which meant he lived in the moment and took each day as it came. He had the bluest eyes that were only outmatched in shine by his smile that lit up any room he entered.

Bruce was very outgoing and liked making new friends. He was an overhead door installer and a general labourer for Nauss Bros in his younger years. Bruce was a nature child. He loved being outdoors chopping wood, doing yard work and any other chores that needed to be done. Bruce was always willing to lend a helping hand to a neighbour.

Bruce was a family man and leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Barbara (nee Feener), Whynotts Settlement; daughter Melissa (Scott), Bedford, NS; his “little princess” granddaughter Evelyn; brothers, Richard, Francis, Michael, Danny, Walter and Louis; sisters, Lorraine, Dianne and Joanne; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bobby, Ronnie, Jimmy and Derek and his sister, Mary.

Service of Remembrance will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, January 10 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater with burial at Sunnyside Cemetery in Whynotts Settlement. A reception will follow at the Oak Hill Firehall. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to the family.

Bruce will be sadly missed and remembered by his family and friends.
