Obituary of Irving Arthur Burgoyne

Burgoyne, Irving Arthur – Age 86 of Springfield, passed away peacefully Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home, with son, Rick and daughter-in-law, Cindy by his side. Born in Springfield, he was a son of the late Ralph and Bernice (Robar) Burgoyne. He is survived by his sons, Vernon (Krista) and Rick (Cindy); grandchildren, Mike, Matt (Neysa), Alisa and Curtis; brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion Florence; brothers and a sister.

Irving coached the Springfield hockey team for many years. He enjoyed stock car racing, hunting, fishing and trapping. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Springfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irving’s memory may be made to the Springfield Fire Department.
