Dear Wendy & Family
We just found out from a retired police friend of mine & Wayne's that Wayne passed away on February 4. It is with a very sad heart hearing this news. Last time I called Wayne he was so glad to hear from me and told me he was not feeling very well but we still had a great chat together. The memories I have of Wayne and I will be with me forever especially all the years we worked and played music together. We shared a true friendship. I will miss him dearly. Please stay strong and take care of yourself Wendy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely Steve & Barbara

My deepest condolences on your loss. Wayne and I worked together in the Criminal Investigation Section in the Nepean Police Force for about a year and half in the mid 80's . He was extremely dedicated to his work and enjoyed his time in the office. We had some excellent results working together and it was an honour to work with him. Thank you for your Service !
Now Wayne....we never knew your first name was Arthur and was there a reason you never used it? Rest in Peace my good buddy and keep that great sense of humour you had!
Respectfully,
Mel Robertson

Hi, I'm sorry for your loss. I was blessed to work with Wayne on patrol in Nepean. He was a huge positive influence on how a peace officer should behave. Although the world will miss him, Heaven has certainly gained a new angel.

I am heartbroken as l know you all are. I have great memories of Wayne from my teen years. He was a kind man and l know his girls loved him as l know you do. I wish that l could have come and seen Wayne before his passing. I don’t think he realized what he meant to a young teenage girl who’s home life was falling apart. He was always fair man and someone that l could talk to. Coming to your home and also Barb’s was an escape for me and many of my good memories involved me trying to get Charmaine and l out of some kind of trouble. I will forever remember his smirk when he was trying to be stern with us! Thank you for welcoming me into your home EVERY weekend.
Safe travels Wayne and may angels lead you in.
