Obituary of Arthur Wayne Dixon

DIXON, Arthur Wayne – Age 70, passed away at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on February 4, 2019. Born in Sandy Point, Shelburne County on October 6, 1948, he was a son of the late Bernard and Sylvia (Crowell) Dixon. Wayne is survived by his best friend, soul mate and loving wife, Wendy (Smith) Dixon; daughters, Megan of Dartmouth; Charmaine of Ottawa and Jodi of Ottawa; ex-wife (mother of Charmaine and Jodi) Barbara Lohnes of Voglers Cove; sister, Karen Dixon of Toronto, Ont.; brother, Donnie Dixon (wife Tandra Dixon) of New Ross; granddaughter, Emily Carins of Dartmouth; grandson, Jordan Diamond of Ottawa. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Dixon (1997). By request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis/ Nova Scotia Lung Association.
