Dear Mrs. Baker and family,
It was with the deepest sorrow that I learned of Susan's death on Wednesday. She was my dear schoolmate and friend for many years, and we enjoyed many happy times together, including lunch a couple of times last year. She will always remain in my heart. I send my condolences and prayers to each one on the loss of such a truly awesome person.
My own health issues prevent me from being at the service, but at 1:30 this Wednesday I will be in special prayer for you, my dear friends.
