Obituary of Joseph Kenneth McCormack

MCCORMACK, Joseph Kenneth - Age 70, of Chester Basin, died peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Halifax Infirmary, QEII Site, Halifax.  Born in Doak Town, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Ivan and Carolyn (Brophy) McCormack.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Anne McCormack, Chester Basin; daughters, Karryanne (Andy) Herrera-Williams, Upper Branch; Colleen Geddes (Morgan Stevens), Chester; son, Richard (Vanessa Demont), Chester Basin; sister, Vickie McCormack (Mike Locke), Ontario; grandchildren, Keisha, Jaida, Nate, Curtis, Cora-Ann and Mason. He was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Dovick; brothers, Gary and Paul.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.  There will be no funeral service or burial at this time.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joseph can be made to the SPCA Lunenburg County (902) 543-2334.
