Obituary of Jean Mae Wentzell

WENTZELL, Jean Mae – Age 81, Dayspring, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Baker Settlement she was the daughter of the late Darius and Emma (Garber) Wentzell.

She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Lohnes and brother, Robert (Lucille) Wentzell; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her common-law partner, Edward “Eddy” Slauenwhite; brother, Lester; sister, Hazel; brother-in-law, Richard Lohnes and a niece.   A graveside service will be held 11a.m., Saturday, March 30 in the Dayspring Cemetery, Reverend Willis Ott officiating.

The family would like to thank all the staff of Hillside Pines for the love, care, compassion and support, our loved one received while she was in long-term care.
