You are dearly missed, sir.
You were my introduction to Canadian society when I arrived here in 1975. The values evidenced by your life long contributions were imparted to many of us, your charges at Hebbville.
Thank you for that and letting us borrow the chemistry lab beakers for training and the grand beakerball championshichampionship.
To the family, while I understand your sorrow, I hope the fact that he is loved and respected by people he impacted 40 some odd years ago, and many more people since, consoles you some.

I am a graduate of Park View class of 1983. I had Mr Morley for physics for 2 years. He was always so good to help you understand problems and to encourage you to do the best you could.
I remember so well, when kids would be kissing outside his classroom, that he would go out and make kissing noises until they left. I always got a chuckle out of that.
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Morley was a great teacher and a kind and caring man.

Dear Barb & Family,
Our sincere condolences for your loss. I always remember stories about Wilf from my parents, Al and Kaye Peppard. Wilf managed many athletic teams in Middleton with my Dad as coach..and is well remembered for his work. my Mom went to school with him in Middleton. It was a real pleasure that they all were reunited in Green Bay a couple of years ago to catch up on old stories and enjoy a delicious lunch hosted by Barb. As a teacher, I invited Wilf to come to my classroom in Pentz and do a lesson on the stars..he was amazing! So knowledgeable! Also, a real pleasure to talk to..so sweet! Thoughts and prayers to your family.

I've thought of Wilf frequently over the decades. I remember him driving Scott and I to and from the original Star Wars movie at the South Shore Twin Cinemas and he asked us if it was more like Star Trek or Space 1999. We loudly answered him together: "No! It was totally different"! Very fond memory.
Wilf was a mentor to me and many others who loved astronomy. He drove us to the RASC Halifax meetings and observed the sky while enroute each way!
My mother volunteered with him at the Bridgewater food bank and often spoke of him.
Wilf Morley shared much with so many and was indeed adored.
Barbara, Scott and Stephen, I am so sorry for your loss and beyond your family, many others will always be grateful to have had him in our lives. I shall miss my old friend. Please accept my wishes for healing from your loss.
Thank you for all you've done, Wilf. Pleasant journey my friend.

My condolences to the family of Mr Morley. I originally knew him and "enjoyed" his chemistry classes at Hebbville Consolidated High School. He was always a warm and fun-loving teacher, and put up with a lot of laughing and carrying on when we were supposed to be doing science experiments. I may not remember much of the chemistry subjects, but I did learn a lot about being a kind and decent human being from Mr Morley. Later in life we would often encounter each other in and around Petite and Green Bay and have wonderful conversations; he was always interested in hearing about family and friends. He encouraged me to call him "Wilf" but I just couldn't do it - he will always be "Mr Morley to me, and he will be missed by many.

Mr. Morley certainly seems to have remembered his students throughout his lifetime. This shows his interest in people and his dedication as a teacher. I would see him often, shopping in town, and he would always stop for a long chat. I'm glad I had the opportunity to tell him that everything I needed to know in life, i.e. "how things work" I learned in his grade 8 classroom. I'm not sure he believed me, but I meant every word of it and have repeated that claim to anyone who would listen. His enthusiasm for Science rubbed off on his students, at least it did for me. I just wanted him to know how important his style of teaching was to me. I will truly miss him.

Dear Barb, Steven, and Scott,
So very sorry for your loss. Working with Wilf at Hebbville has left me with so many good memories. He was such an enthusiastic teacher and often said that he would stand on his head if it helped to get his points across to his students. I swear that he did this at times, especially remember the “ mole” tee shirt that he wore, and his students knew how many parts made up a mole.
He will be missed.
