Obituary of Ora Lucille Carter

CARTER, Ora Lucille – Age 98, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Newburne, she was a daughter of the late John Glenmore and Leila Gertrude (Mader) Frank.

Surviving are her sons, David Collins Carter, Bridgewater; W. Glenmore Carter, Auburndale; brothers, Wilbur Frank and Vincent Frank, both of Ontario; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Carmen Douglass Hood and her second husband, Watkins Collins Carter; brothers, Oscar, Oswald, Omer, John, David, Robert and Paul.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family service will be held with burial in Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay. Rev. David Collins Carter, officiating. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
