Obituary of Kathryn Anne Varner

Kathryn Anne Varner Of Lower Branch Lunenburg County, passed on Thursday February 26 2008 away at the South Shore Regional Hospital Bridgewater. She was born in Amherst on March 1st, 1949 to the late Arnold and Vera (Dwitt) Currie. Kathryn is survived by her husband Greg; daughter Debra (Chris Beeler) Varner, Elmwood; son Merrill (Sheri) Varner, Western Shore; sisters Marilyn Reid, Ontario; Donna Currie, Bridgewater; Lynne Currie, Bridgewater; grandson Jordan and several nieces and nephews. Other than both her mother and father she was predeceased by her brother Merrill and nephew Douglas. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where the funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, Rev. Catherine Robar officiating. Burial will follow in the Anglican Cemetery in New Germany. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations in Kathryn’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Association.
