Dear Linda and Family,
I want to express my deepest condolences to all of you on Robert's death. Robert was one of the best people I ever knew. Growing up just across the brook from him, our family experienced his kindnesses over many years. In 1957, when my own father died tragically, the news came to me at school (I was nine). Robert is the one who accompanied me home and comforted me.
He will be sorely missed.
My prayers are with you all.
