Hello Roger and family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. You probably don’t recall all the people you and Gloria had studies with during your lives but I remember Gloria being so beautiful and lovely spoken. I was impressed by you and Gloria’s great bible knowledge and sharing of this knowledge with others in a kind, gentle, nonagressive manner. I liked the times you came to our home when we were children. Please take comfort in your memories and knowledge.
Sincerely,
Vivian DeBaie

Dear Roger, Arthur and I (Charlene) are truly sorry for the loss of your wonderful wife, Gloria! Sending you our love and condolences wishing we were closer to give you a huge hug person! When my brothers and I were just kids, you arrived and stayed with us for the winter. I always remember the good times we had together such as taking us kids to the pond to skate. You folks never complained when my feet got very cold on the ice, then we would have to walk back up the hill to the wood fire in the house to warm my feet, you both were very patient with us. I will always remember Gloria for giving me my first Bible, that I still cherish. There were many good times together such as when we went to Surinam to visit you folks. We still remember going up the river in the dugout logs to see other parts of your beautiful country. Gloria will be missed by all but she will always hold a special spot in my heart!

Dear Roger, Arthur and I are very sorry for your loss of your wonderful wife Gloria. You both were part of our family for as long as I can remember. Two things I remember are that Gloria gave me my first bible that I truly cherished. On the fun side she would walk with me to the Frozen pond so that we could go skating with my brothers. Unfortunately my feet would get cold and back up the hill we would have to walk to the house to get warm! I also remember our fantastic trip to Surinam to visit you folks. It was truly amazing your work there and our trip up the river in the dugout logs. Gloria will be missed and loved by all who knew her. May we look forward to God’s promise of a paradise on earth where we can meet again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Wish we could’ve been there with you to say goodbye, may Jehovah continue to be with you and give you strength. All our love and thoughts are with you, Charlene and Arthur!

Roger, we are saddened in your great loss of dear Gloria. We have many fond memories when we worked together in preparing circuit and district conventions in the Maritimes. Especially does Barbara remember when she and Gloria went shopping separately, only to return with the identical hat. What a faithful record of service Gloria had with you. We remember you in our prayers to the great God of comfort, Jehovah.
