of Flossie Arlene Veinot 85 Of Hemford, Lunenburg County, passed away Saturday 5 April, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Ninevah Lunenburg County she was the daughter of the late Fay and Lucy (Mosher) Smith. Flossie is survived by her daughters Rose Veno, Ontario; Evelyn Smith, Ninevah; Hazel (Jimmy) Ernst, Indian Point; Laverne Snow, Ontario; Gladys (Ralph) Hatt, Lillydale; Leith Dorey, Hemford; Cheryl (Richard) Varner, New Germany; Iris Veinot, Hemford; sons Beverly (Carolyn), Bakers Settlement; Richard (Colleen), Ontario; Bruce, Hemford; Linwood, Hemford; Merlin (Valerie), Ninevah; Carol (Tara), Hemford; sisters Bessie Mosher, Ninevah; Gloria (Gerald) Fancy, Colpton; brother Annis (Debbie) Smith, Whynot Settlement; 34 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband Carmon; sons Harold, Leon and Dwayne; sister Jennie and Phyllis; brothers Stedman, Willis and Ellis. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10, New Germany Tuesday April 8, 2008. Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday April 9, 2008 in the Emmanuel United Church, Hemford, Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in the Hemford Community Cemetery.
