Dear Colleen and family,
A friend was by this evening and mentioned Jack had passed away - I was not aware but I knew Jack's health had become an issue. I LAST SPOKE TO Jack at Al and Linda's 50th at Hart Lake.
Please accept my sincerest condolences at this difficult time for you and your family.celebrate his life and all the good times shared as I know there are many.

i was saddened to read of Jack's passing.I found it to be very touching and true to who Jack,you and the children are.Alzheimer's is very difficult not only for the person experiencing it but also so gut wrenchingly sad for the family experiencing it.Being from an Alzheimer's family,I know and feel your grief.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I was shocked and saddened to see his obituary in today's paper. Jack was a childhood friend living just around the corner from me in the East End. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Hello Colleen, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. I have thought of him many times over the past 55 years. Jack and I spent a lot of time together while in High School - horseraces, playing pool, hockey, baseball and enjoying all the other opportunities offered to us during these years, including the Lincolns dances. He was a true friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Colleen and family, I was very saddened to learn of Jackie’s passing. Being a neighbour and friend of Jack’s for many years on Wood Street in Truro I have so many wonderful memories of our time together. We were very close in the Eastend and over the years had such great times together whether it be playing ball or hockey or in later years getting together on our annual bass fishing derby at Keith Logans cottage in Bass River. The many fond memories I have of him will keep his spirit alive in my heart as I know your memories of him will bring you peace as well. RIP my good friend.
