So very sorry to hear of David's passing. He and Nancy are part of my childhood memories and I and my family shall miss his friendly greetings on our visits home and his kindness. Some of my earliest memories of him are feeding his cats and his booming voice. We shall miss him and hold his memories dear. Nancy, hugs and care sent to you and when the borders are freely opened, we shall see you in person. To David's family, we are truely sorry for your loss. Kelly (Conrad), Jeremy, Camila and Simon Beam

So sorry to hear of the passing of David. My sincere condolences to the family. I was introduced to David through Eric lohnes. For the past six years I made the annual trip to the Prince Edward Island truck and tractor pulls. We would leave early in the morning and return the same day. It was an awesome day of Storytelling laughs black tractor smoke and a beverage or two. There would be 5 to 12 people depending on who was available to go. I will miss you David and especially your sense of humour. Rest in peace. Alan Robar.

I was so saddened to learn of David's passing. I enjoyed seeing him at mass on Sundays as we shared the back pew. I will miss sitting next to him and our Sunday chats.

Saddened and shocked by the news of David's recent passing. Didn't know him well but always saw him around the community. Had a nice visit last summer, sitting out in his garage. He loved to talk and laugh. Rest in peace.
Sincerely,
LaVerne and Ray Hawkins

Growing up next door to Uncle David meant he was a huge part of my younger years.I remember well, how he would let me tag along to ball games and on bike rides; let me "help" with projects and admire his snowmobile and 3-wheeler. He was always a deep and quiet thinker, meeting each question or problem with a characteristic "Hmm". :). I still remember "sneaking" into his Ford, to play the Dukes of Hazard tune on his electronic horn; thinking I'd get away with it.
Thanks for the memories, David, rest in peace.

So sad to hear of David's passing. He was one of a kind and always enjoyed listening to his stories, laughs, arguments that never went no where but always led to an agreement. He will be missed by many of us. Peter, Darlene and Crystal Mckean.
