of Doreen Shirley Weagle of Dayspring Lunenburg Co. It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Shirley Weagle announces her sudden passing on Saturday April 19, 2008 at home in her 74th year. Born on Sept 4 1933 in Bridgewater she was the daughter of the late Ruby A. (Taylor) and Aubrey B. Weagle Doreen enjoyed her gardens, feeding and watching the birds and loved her cat “LD”. She also loved going to the variety shows. She is survived by her sons, Louis K. (Jessie Savoury) Weagle, Dayspring; David W. (Joan Whynot) Weagle, Newburne; sisters, Elizabeth Frank, Wileville; Karra Lee Norris, Lower Sackville; brothers, Wayne (Pauline), Lunenburg; Karl in the U.S.A.; Aunt Shirley Wells, Pentz; grandchildren, Cory (Heather) Carhart, Ontario; Angela Weagle, Nicole O’Melia, Sean Weagle and Ashley Weagle all of Bridgewater; great grandchild Brianna Weagle, Bridgewater; and a number of nieces and nephews. Doreen was predeceased by her brother Byron and 2 sisters in infancy. Visitation will be held Monday April 21st from 7 to 9PM in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where memorial service will be held Tuesday April 22nd at 11am, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayspring Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
