When I was a brand new Christian attending Christian Women's Club, Trudy and Al paid for me to attend a CWC Conference in Halifax. They also cared for my children while I was away and Holly & Chris had a great time on the farm. Let's have tea in God's garden when I graduate Trudy - we have lots of catching up to do. DeB

Jeffrey, Ian and Ryan: Your Mom and Dad were precious souls to me and to my late Husband Ken. On our first visit to Pleasantville Baptist Church, Trudy was the first one to sit down beside me and say “my name is Trudy Goldsmith. What’s yours?” That was in February 1982 and the friendship is still so sweet to me. That day started many memories in their home, our home on Hillcrest and even a visit to S.C.!! So loving and gentle. They will always be in my heart and all of you in my prayers. May God’s blessings of love, peace and strength be constant with each of you.
In His love,
Martha Williams

I've known Trudy for a long time as neighbour and friend. She was always so kind to us and always asked how everyone was when we met in later years. I believe her interest and caring for others was genuine and came naturally. Rest in peace and rise in glory. Ruby+
