Obituary of Charles "Tom" Fahey

Fahey, Charles “Tom” – It is with great sadness I announce the passing of my husband, Charles “Tom” Fahey at home on November 20, 2020 at the age of 83. He was born October 5, 1937 in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, a son of the late Alexander and Mildred (Beeler) Fahey.

Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy (Mackay); brother, Jim (Christine), Ontario; sons, Alex (Brittany), Upper Northfield; Robbie (Sherry), Middlewood; Jeff (Kelly), Ontario; grandchildren, Josh, Julie, Kate, Aaron, Mari and Maddax; great grandson, Thomas, Ontario.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers- in-law, Tammie Mackay, Dale Mackay; sisters- in-law, Betty-Lou Mackay, Rose Chadwick.

Tom acquired his full native status of which he was very proud. He was a faithful member of Zone 5 Native Council.

There will be no funeral by request and due to COVID-19, there will be no celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
