Obituary of Nellie May Croft

CROFT, Nellie May – Age 94 of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, where she had been residing. Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late John Fredwick and Annie May (Townsend) Whynot.

Surviving are her sister, Edith Armstrong, Salisbury, NB; brother, Michael “Sonny” Whynot, Liverpool and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husband, Robert G. Croft; sisters, Pauline Lohnes, Gertrude “Bunny” Huskins, Mary Whynot, Viola Whynot; brothers, Aubrey Whynot and Wallace Whynot.

A public graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2020 in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater with Rev. Simon Davies officiating. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.
