Heather, Gary and Family,
So sad to hear of Marion's passing, a lady with a big smile. Marion's and Ralph's door was always open. "Come on in, are you ready to play cards!" Which we always did and with the odd drink. Marion's lemon pies were always the favourite along with her famous fish bowl which just about everyone held. We will all miss Marion.
Respectfully,
Ralph McInnes

To Marion's Family: my heart goes out to each one of you, she was a special gal in many ways!
I have many memories of Marion as I grew up across the road from her. She came to Dad's "rescue" a few times to change our diapers as he had a weak stomach!!! As a young girl, I spent many hours at her house baking and cooking, she would let me look through all her cook books, let me pick anything out I wanted to make or bake and the best part was, I'd run home and she would always clean up the mess!! She would take me to the drive in up the road to play Bingo, we never came home with buckets of winnings but always had fun! Happy to have grown up with her grandchildren in the same community, and to call them friends is special to me.
I was lucky to get to see Marion weekly, as I done her hair every week, she never missed an appointment! We had many "cackles" together at those times!
Cherish your memories of her! Take care, Stacey Dorey xo
