Tufts (Langille), Ravenna Scarlet -Age 69 of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully March 8, 2021 in Hillside Pines, Home for Special Care, Bridgewater where she had been cared for compassionately by her family of caregivers. Ravenna will be truly missed by her former husband, Allan Tufts; children, Marjorie (son in-law, Joe), Katherine and Steven; sisters, Celeste, and Nadine; brother, Jason; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Megan, Alyssa, Kyle, Shaylynn, Natalie, Nicholas, and Nicole; sister in-law, Judy; brother in-law, Alden; many nieces and nephews; extended family and many dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lincoln Langille and Pauline (Annie) Eisnor; brothers, Fenton and Dagon.

Ravenna was such a strong and lively person, who enjoyed so many things in life. It is hard to put into words what were her favorites. Family, especially her grandchildren, spending time with friends, pets, bingo night, hunting, quilting, rug hooking, cooking, and baking, just to name a few.

Ravenna was an amazing generous lady that always baked delicious homemade bread, cookies, donuts and much more. She always kept her family and friends well fed with her goodies. She will be remembered for sharing her baked goods far and wide. She always had a smile, was full of hope, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was truly dedicated to the Relay for Life and participated in the relay for 12 years as a survivor, raising donations for the fight against cancer and in remembrance of family and friends lost to it.  When no longer able to bake and be as active, she took great pleasure in listening to country music and enjoyed a good toe-tapping song.

Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, March 12 in Hillside Cemetery, Simpsons Corner, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. COVID-19 protocols will be followed, and guests are encouraged to wear a facemask and bring a chair for comfort.

Rest easy, mom. You were a lovely lady who will be thought of often, spread those wings and fly free like the angel you are.

Thank you so much to her caregiver family, Judy, for the sing songs, and the many family and friends who reached out to us during this difficult time. Donations in Ravenna’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Lodge that Gives or a charity of choice.
